Hello, Natalie... 16 months

We found out on 10/8/11 that we were expecting, which means that 2 years ago today we had no idea that our lives were about to change in a huge way. It's true what they say about having two under two... that once you have the second child it's hard to remember a time when they weren't there. I recently had an 'aha' moment where we went out and both girls walked to the car and then both walked into the house when we got home. Natalie's been walking for quite some time now, but it's always been too difficult to wrangle Adrianna while trying to help guide Nat in the right direction so we always just carried one kid. It's finally starting to feel like we have this whole two kids thing under control and I love it.

Nat Nat is 16 months old today. She is really thriving and I can tell that she looks up to her big sister and learns a lot from her. Adrianna doesn't always appreciate having a second shadow, but she totally misses her when she's not around so it's a give and take kind of thing. Watching them interact is priceless.

Natalie loves sitting and looking through all of her board books. Right now we have the Halloween ones out and are learning about pumpkins. She also loves to clap. If anyone claps, she will clap, and if all 4 of us do it, she thinks it's absolutely hilarious.

Natalie and Adrianna being born in opposite seasons was actually working out well as far as clothes go, but Nat has caught up to her age size. Now all of the clothes that will fit her this fall/winter are the clothes from Adrianna's summer wardrobe. Looks like mommy needs to do some shopping! She also went up a shoe size (Finally!!) and a diaper size.
