Adrianna has had a fever for a couple of days now. Yesterday we noticed a rash all over her body that was getting progressively worse. We gave it the night to see if she'd improve before calling the pedi. Her fever broke during the night, but the rash got worse.
We called the pedis office and they wanted us to come in. In addition to the fever/rash, the doctor found some nodules on her throat. They did a swab for strep, which came back negative. Diagnosis: viral infection. All we can do is keep medicating with Advil and wait it out.
I'm so glad it was nothing serious!
